Edge members have an opportunity to join the Animal Agriculture Alliance at half-price. Because Edge is a member of the alliance, members are eligible for a supporter-level membership for $250.

The Animal Agriculture Alliance is an industry-united, nonprofit organization that helps bridge the communication gap between farm and fork. The organization connects key industry stakeholders and engages food chain influencers to help them understand modern animal agriculture. Ultimately, the alliance works to protect the future of animal agriculture.

Benefits of being an alliance member:

  • Unlimited access to the Member Resource Center, which includes farm security and crisis resources, profiles on anti-animal ag activist organizations, information on animal rights activism, tools for sharing animal ag's story and more.

  • One account for the Farm Security & Hiring Hub, which includes additional farm security information, hiring resources, alerts on activist or suspicious activity, and information on individual animal rights activists.

  • Subscription to Alliance Link monthly e-newsletter, monthly member update emails and special reports.

  • Access to the alliance's network of organizations and experts across the food chain.

  • Discount on registration fees for the annual Stakeholders Summit.

Additionally, membership is an investment in the future of animal ag. Some of the alliance’s work from the past year:

  • Released a Sustainability Impact Report sharing the continuous improvement animal ag makes in the areas of animal care, environmental impact, food safety and responsible antibiotic use.

  • Connecting with restaurant, retail and foodservice brands and associations. The alliance has hosted farm tours (virtual and in-person), lunch-and-learns and webinars to help this audience better understand modern animal agriculture.

  • Representatives attended several animal rights conferences, including a training on protesting, to gain the inside scoop on activists’ tactics and strategies to share with alliance members.

  • Developed and improved resources on protests at farms, plants, events, stores and offices.

  • Issued 21 alerts on activist activity through the Fam Security & Hiring Hub. The alliance has identified 50 individuals who have tried to gain entry or employment on farms on behalf of activist organizations, plus 2,000-plus social media profiles of individuals who attend activist organization events.

  • Posting on social media daily and engaging with the media to help share animal agriculture’s story.
