GREEN BAY, Wis. (June 6, 2017) — Abigail Anderson has joined the Dairy Business Milk Marketing Cooperative as a member services representative.

Anderson will help the co-op provide and expand services to members through recruitment and member engagement and will also support farmers within the new Dairy Strong Sustainability Alliance.

“It’s our mission to increase services to meet the needs of our members,” said Tim Trotter, executive director of DBMMC, one of the fastest-growing dairy cooperatives in the country. “To accomplish this, we need the brightest, most talented and passionate people on our team who truly understand dairy. We’re excited to have Abigail join us.”

Anderson will provide members with on-farm support and information. She will also assist with implementation programs as part of the alliance.

Anderson brings customer service and communications skills, relationship management skills and a passion for helping dairy farmers and the dairy community succeed.

She graduated in May from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in agricultural marketing communications and a minor in agricultural business. She has worked at the Amery Country Store and for the Amery Economic Development Corporation, as well as on a local dairy farm.

"As someone who has loved cows and the dairy community my whole life, I'm thrilled to be joining the team at DBMMC to keep this great part of our economy and culture going strong,” Anderson said. “I hope to be of help as well as be a friend of the farmers I will be privileged to work with."
