Member meetings provided opportunities to connect

DBMMC staff wrapped up a month of travel around Wisconsin in February for our second year of member meetings.

Several of the meetings were co-hosted with Dairy Business Association. All meetings featured information about the direction of the organizations and the Dairy Strong Sustainability Alliance. John Holevoet, director of government affairs, discussed legislative work around issues such as immigration, trade, water quality and quantity, farm-specific regulations and transportation funding.

This was a great opportunity for members to ask questions, voice opinions and, most importantly, learn how these issues may affect their farms. It was also a way for members and our staff to get to know one another better.

Connecting with our members is a top priority. These regional member meetings are just one of the many ways we create opportunities for discussions. We want you to be informed about what DBMMC is working on for you, as well as get your feedback on our direction.
